So Saturday after an 'eventful' Friday evening
So, a quiet day for this guy :)

I honestly underestimated the time it takes to make a website haha

however silly it sounds, there are so many tiny little insignificant details that take far too long to do.

so I'll truck along for now, alot of work with soundcloud today :D
hopefully get the site up while I work on other details later today

So as I make the website, there is no reason why I can't give you something to read once it's up

With the website I hope to combine all the best music into a continent "one stop shop" so to speak. So I want to help people find the best music, this involves my own research and the input of others:

So on the site you will see the home page full with blue links. These are not adds. These are instead links to songs. The headings show where the songs are coming from.
I have chosen to use The Hype Machine (hypem.com). Their platform is so amazing, and is my main source of finding new music.
So my research (aka tb10bc's loved songs) and the input of others (aka the most popular). as well as having the 'most recent' allowing readers to view the most up-to-date songs.

Additional to the Hype widget, I added a couple Pitchfork (pitchfork.com) feeds with top tracks and news.

So the Site then focuses on My top 5 favourites, and reader's top 5

Simply displaying my fave five, and any voters top 5.

The rest of the site is devoted to Fan and Artist communication via forum for discussion and song promotion

The cloud is an experimental part that may or may not be in the finished website. I want to use it to showcase new DJ's and Indie artists uploading their own stuff to Soundcloud (soundcloud.com).

Essencially the site will encompass the best music of the week
with the grass roots of where this great music comes from.
